Pumpkin Cocktail Recipes are somewhat of an afterthought as seasons change. As the leaves turn from green to yellow and brown, you start to think of warm pumpkin pies and delicious pumpkin ales. Just because I own a vodka site, doesn’t mean that I don’t enjoy my fair share of seasonal beers.
But I’d still like to be able to have a nice fall cocktail that isn’t always so heavy. Something that carries tantalizing autumn flavors of cinnamon and nutmeg, while still being able to give me that nice vodka kick that I really like. I was going to start playing with these ingredients in cocktails when I discovered Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie Vodka.
As it turns out, Pinnacle (widely known for their awesomely sweet Whipped Vodka) is releasing a new Pumpkin Pie flavored vodka. I know fancy drinks with spices is fun, but when it comes to parties, you need something easier. So before you go masterchef in your pantry trying to create that perfect fall cocktail, try out some these great vodka cocktails using Pinnacle’s new Pumpkin Pie Vodka.
*Disclaimer: I currently have not tried this vodka yet, and am hoping to get my hands on a bottle to do a full review soon. I really like what Pinnacle is trying to do with this vodka and am hoping that it turns out well for them!
Pumpkin Cocktails – Thanksgiving Cider:
- 1 part Pinnacle® Pumpkin Pie Vodka
- 3 parts Apple Cider
- Splash Club Soda
- Build in order over ice in a tall highball glass.
- Garnish with a lemon wedge.
The pumpkin pie flavors mixed with the apple cider should be very complimenting in this cocktail. Splash of club soda is more optional but I personally like a little carbonation in my drink.
Pumpkin Cocktails – Halloween Brew:
- 1 part Pinnacle® Pumpkin Pie Vodka
- 2 parts Fresh OJ
- 1 part Cranberry Juice
- Serve chilled in a martini glass
- Garnish with a cherry.
Pumpkin Cocktails – Berry Pie Fusion:
